Beware! Palms in trouble…
We have seen many clients’ trees affected, please read attached information about the most hard hit areas…

MANAGEMENT:
AT THIS TIME, THERE IS NO CURE FOR THIS LETHAL DISEASE BUT THE FOLLOWING ACTIONS CAN HELP CONTAIN IT.
* Do not move palm trees from the core quarantined area or from areas directly around these areas mentioned.
* If you are buying palm trees, then purchase them from areas well outside of these quarantined areas.
* Have your tree tested prior to removal if it is suspected of having this disease.
* Make sure pruning tools are sanitized between trimming each palm tree (this should always be done).
* Special antibiotic injections should be performed to the trees. (The injection of the formula does not kill the disease, but it helps prevent it from reproducing to levels that are toxic to the tree.)

For your convenience, We have included numerous links with interactive maps of the area and also literature with more in depth detail about this disease and areas of concern.

Palm Professionals has been hired to consult local municipalities, test, treat, and monitor this disease for years now and our documentation, laboratory test results, and field studies show this disease to be spreading more in these core areas than other areas around greater Houston. Our current estimated loss of individual palm trees is in the quantity of hundreds and monetarily estimated to have approximately loss of over $2,000,000.00

We will update our Facebook page with more results and details as they arrive, as we still have laboratory results coming in and more quarantines that will soon be issued around the greater Houston area.

Follow our page for future updates and we will keep you informed of any updates as they arrive.
