As I walked my dogs last night and swatted mosquitos off of me, I noticed little creatures swooping to and fro between the trees all along my street – bats! I love bats! “A single bat can eat up to 1,200 mosquito-sized insects every hour, and each bat usually eats 6,000 to 8,000 insects each night.”(motherearthnews.com) – Thats the kind of wildlife I want around my house:)! Next time you are walking at dusk – look up, they are easy to see with the dimming night sky as a back drop.
